Financial Administrative Support Services (FASS) hires new CEO

On January 14, 2019, Financial Administrative Support Services (FASS) announced the hiring of their new Chief Executive Officer, Jeff Cherniss. Jeff’s tenure as CEO of FASS will officially begin on February 1, 2019.

Jeff comes to FASS with nearly 30 years of financial experience working in both the private and nonprofit sectors, most recently as Chief Financial Officer for the Indian Health Center of Santa Clara Valley. As a senior executive leader serving the community, Jeff enjoys building internal and external teams across functional areas in challenging and dynamic environments – a skill perfectly suited for FASS.

Jeff’s finance and business acumen, leadership and team building skills, and in-depth knowledge of the various and unique finance and accounting needs of nonprofit organizations will compliment FASS’s dynamic team of accounting and finance professionals. Having Jeff at the helm will enable FASS to improve and expand its back office accounting and nonprofit financial consulting work.

With this move, FASS was also excited to announce that former CEO, Andrea Elliot, will remain with organization and return to her previously held position as Chief Financial Officer.
