On December 12, 2018, The Health Trust Board of Trustees unanimously elected Michael Celio as its Board Chair. Michael’s election was predicated by the resignation of former Board Chair, Charles Bullock, from the Board of Trustees. The Health Trust is grateful for Charlie’s years of service to the organization and is excited to have Michael serve as Board Chair.
Michael has been a member of The Health Trust Board of Trustees since February 2012. Having served as Chair of the Grants Committee, Michael has a deep understanding of the organization and the impact it strives to have in the community.
About Michael Celio, J.D.
Michael Celio is a securities defense partner with Gibson Dunn LLP. He has handled a significant number of complex civil and criminal enforcement actions brought by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the Department of Justice. An experienced trial lawyer, Michael Celio has tried more than a dozen cases to verdict in state and federal courts. He is ranked by Chambers, one of the youngest securities litigators so honored.
Michael earned a B.A. degree from Stanford University, an M.S. from the London School of Economics and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. He brings strong analytical skills to organization’s complex challenges and helps engage the legal, venture capital and technology communities in the work of The Health Trust.
