On Friday, October 16, 2015, Educare California at Silicon Valley held its official ribbon cutting ceremony. Local, state and national early education champions, along with students, parents, community members and partner organizations, gathered to celebrate the first Educare in California.
Serving 168 children ages 0 to 5 (with a future capacity to serve over 200), the early learning center houses high-quality early learning classrooms, a family resource center, and a satellite children’s museum.
The Health Trust, committing $1 million in funding for the school, is a proud supporter of Educare California at Silicon Valley, and its commitment to preventing the achievement gap from taking root in the early years of a child’s life.
