The Health Trust Jerry Larson FOODBasket is a wholesome, clean, bright and energized space committed to strengthening the health of our clients by delivering top notch nutrition services and deeply satisfying engagement opportunities for volunteers while maximizing donor and partners’ contributions.
The Jerry Larson FOODBasket supplies our AIDS Services, Meals On Wheels and Family Resource Center clients with the fresh and nutritious food needed to maintain a healthy lifestyle. If you are living with HIV/AIDS, are a homebound senior or an adult with disabilities, or have children under the age of 5, our services can help. Please contact the following, for enrollment information:
Serving as Meals On Wheels Delivery Drivers and Meals On Wheels Meal Packers, volunteers help us deliver roughly 78,000 meals annually to homebound seniors and disabled adults.
Our AIDS Services clients receive the nutritious food they need with help from volunteers acting as Grocery Store Attendants and Saturday Grocery Home Delivery Drivers.
Whether from a collegiate fraternity/sorority or a local corporation, group volunteers can also serve on The FOODBasket food-sorting team or as Brown Bag Program Packers. Group volunteers are also helpful with special projects, they even come up with some great project ideas themselves.
If you, or your organization, are interested in making a difference in the lives of those we serve, please visit our Volunteer page for more information.
