The Health Trust was established in 1996 to manage, in perpetuity, the proceeds from the sale of four nonprofit hospitals and to distribute assets to improve the health and wellness of the community. Since that time, we have greatly increased our assets value from the original $54 million and have returned back to the community over $100 million of community benefit through our grantmaking and program services.
